Anthem has been out for for just over a week (or two, when you consider EA early access). The game was labelled as a potential Destiny killer, but a myriad of game design problems and a string of negative reviews ahead of its full launch have undoubtedly curtailed sales for the game. In the United Kingdom, for instance, Anthem sold just 10% of what the first Destiny sold in its first week....

Starting soon, BioWare will be launching a PC-only test server for Anthem where it can have players run new content through the gamut before pushing it live. The Cataclysm event will be the first use of the Public Test Server, though other smaller fixes will also be put to public test at the same time. Then, presumably, the PTS will be used for similar content plans for the rest of Anthem’s future as necessary....

The absence of a trade system was revealed during an exchange between Anthem executive producer Mark Darrah and a curious user on Twitter. Nuno Boaventura (@Pini0n) asked Darrah if he could trade a piece of Storm loot for something for a Ranger, if that’s the class he is currently playing, and the answer was no. However, Darrah goes go on to say that most of the loot that drops will be for the Javelin class a player is using, but that loot for other classes can drop as well, just at a lower rate....
