That night was a far cry from the two-time All-Star’s average of 24 points a game a year ago. By comparison, Kendrick Perkins, a guy who has averaged less than five points a game each of the last three seasons, was a perfect 5 for 5 on the night.
Davis also struggled on the boards, grabbing just six rebounds, and he turned the ball over five times. He did, however, block three shots, one of which came against Curry, who had a monster first quarter.
Davis will look to improve on his numbers Wednesday night against the Trail Blazers.
