Most recently, a fan reached out to Darrah to inquire about the possibility of matchmaking for Raids in the upcoming game. With a game as massive as Anthem is supposed to be, there is always the concern that some end-game content may be essentially gated for players who are not in a serious raiding guild or don’t have a group of friends to play along with. Luckily, it sounds like that won’t be the case when Anthem launches.

Here’s a look at the confirmation of raid matchmaking from Mark Darrah…

Darrah’s confirmation means that players won’t be locked out of any particular content, just because they don’t have a group of high level friends to play along with. Players who remember the early days of WoW will know how painful and frustrating that process could be for some players. Raid matchmaking can lead to some messy groups who can’t actually pull off a fight, but at least there’s the chance to get into the content.

As we inch closer to the February 2019 launch of Anthem more and more details will likely continue to become public. Fans still seem incredibly eager to get their hands on the title, so it will be very exciting to see how long it holds their attention after launch. Be sure to check back for more news and updates in the coming weeks.

Anthem is scheduled to release on February 22nd, 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
