“Secret Tour Pro” seems to have a problem with Katayama’s right elbow resting against his side. While the anchoring ban prohibits a putter from resting against a body part, or a players’ arms when their hands are split, it does not prohibit that act when their hands are together like Katayama’s.
Considering this is the first year of the ban, it’s not surprising a few tour pros have decided to push the envelope. But remember, if a player needs to putt with their arm resting against their side, they probably aren’t going to make very many putts regardless of technique.
