Well, what’s surprising is I came out quite optimistic and cheerful. It’s because Anthem is actually good. I feared the game won’t have any depth to it and would be a mindless looter-shooter, just like Destiny, but fortunately, it ain’t. There are interesting stories to be found in the world of Anthem. Well, I believe I spent more time exploring Fort Tarsis-Anthem’s version of safe hub then actually doing missions or roaming around in the open world....

Either way, there is no doubt that Juventus are the unprecedented champions of Italy. The players and manager, Antonio Conte, celebrated their victory prior to heading to training for their match against Atalanta. The scenes below are quite incredible. While the players go absolutely mental in celebration, Antonio Conte joins in as well and looks nothing like a 44-yr-old manager, but rather a 20 something player. Presuming players have already acquired the two signets required to open the chamber holding the Manifold, defeated the Three Dominion Valkyrie enemies guarding it, and then discovered that the Manifold’s enshrouded in a blue and impenetrable bubble, we will cut to the chase in order to explain how to solve the puzzle and unlock the item needed to end the mission....

It has been several months since BioWare provided its first in-depth look at Anthem during E3 2018, but since the game’s launch is still more than half a year away much was held back. BioWare fans have anxiously awaited a more thorough unveiling as Anthem gets closer to launch, but few likely expected a surprise live demonstration from the game’s producers. According to Gamble, he’s planning on just grabbing a “random” and hopefully stable build of Anthem to play on....

This is because Anthem doesn’t just throw players into the game world with full access to the store and all customization elements. There are several tutorials and missions to play through before that part of the game opens up. Once the player progresses to a certain point, all of that free content can be claimed....

BioWare has thus far not gone too deep into the issue with Anthem, as many gamers are hesitant when the phrase microtransaction comes up and perhaps rightfully so. Microtransactions, when done incorrectly, can be predatory and turn a game into a pariah within its own community. That said, this doesn’t appear to be the case, as the initial price for the purchase of Shards is much lower than other cosmetic-only microtransaction-filled games currently on the market....

In a community post today, BioWare’s Head of Live Services, Chad Robertson, addressed the issues and what they planned to do. “Yesterday was rocky,” said Robertson, who attempted to explain the issues with the demo. He said that real-world play usually leads to “unexpected issues.” Robertson wanted to address the rumor that they weren’t prepared for the sheer amount of players that would log in over the weekend, claiming that they did, and still do, have excess capacity prepared for population increases....
